What’s on in Yorkshire this August 2025?

Yorkshire Day Market 

1st – 3rd August 2025 

Head over to York’s bustling Parliament Street for a celebration of all things Yorkshire on this iconic day. Show your support for local artisans and shop from a host of pretty stalls selling locally made artwork, gifts, food and drink. Enjoy a great day out and celebrate the very best of Yorkshire produced goods.

Whitby Regatta 

9th – 11th August 2025

One of the oldest and most enjoyable traditions on the Yorkshire coast, Whitby Regatta will once again take place this summer for three days of on-water fun. Featuring yacht races, rowing races, live music, and concluding with an epic firework display, it’s set to be quite a spectacular few days indeed. Plus, there are rumours about a possible RAF Red Arrows flypast, so even more reason to pay this one a visit!

Temple Newsam Food Festival 

16th – 17th August 2025

New for 2025, head to Leeds’ favourite stately home and gardens for a weekend jam-packed with foodie festivities. Women’s Rugby World Cup, York 

22nd August – 7th September 2025

Rugby fans prepare: This August, The York Community Stadium is hosting part of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025! There will be six matches taking place in York, including USA vs Australia, South Africa vs Italy, and New Zealand vs Spain.
