Chestnut House is a luxury holiday home for four guests, nestled in the charming village of Harewood, near Harrogate. Set on a large estate, it’s beautifully designed retreat where you can find the perfect blend of comfort, style, and tranquility, featuring spacious rooms, stunning gardens, and a wood-fired hot tub.

EAT

The kitchen at Chestnut House is a chef’s dream, with a range cooker boasting a 6-burner induction hob, bespoke modern kitchen units, and wood panelled walls, creating a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. A large corner bench seat offers dining seating for up to ten people, making it ideal for family meals and special occasions. With underfloor heating throughout, the kitchen/dining area is cosy all year round and is a really lovely space to socialise in. The beautiful south-facing windows provide stunning views over the front garden so you can eat while enjoying the scenic nature views around you.

SLEEP

The house features two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features high ceilings, original wooden shuttered windows, and a luxurious walnut bed with a fixed Superking Hypnos mattress. With beautiful views over the estate, it provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city living. The second bedroom boasts a zip-and-link Superking Hypnos bed, adorned with a stylish studded headboard and unique Mark Hinchcliffe wallpaper. This room also features an en-suite shower room.

RELAX

Relaxing at Chestnut House is effortless, with its beautifully designed sitting room and outdoor spaces offering plenty of opportunity for unwinding. The sitting room features high ceilings, wooden floors, and original arched shuttered windows, so you can enjoy cosy evenings by the fireplace or settle into one of the large comfy sofas to watch a movie on the 55″ smart TV. Step outside to the rear garden where you will find a private, secluded wood-fired hot tub for ultimate relaxation and gorgeous views of cherry trees surrounding you.

The staircase leads up to the first floor with two double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom and one with ensuite shower room.

There is a front and rear garden with hot tub and outdoor seating. Parking available for guests and communal electric car charges available.

The Estate gives access to 15 miles of footpaths across the Estate and cycle bridlepaths.

Trains are available to nearby Weeton and Pannal.

This is by far the most beautiful space we rented for Christmas in Yorkshire. The location the cottage itself the people at Harewood Estate everything was like a dream. Our walks in the grounds the farm shop the House itself the gardens the wild life. A movie. Thank you so much for the hospitality I will never forget it.
