EAT

The open plan kitchen/dining room space is bright, functional and beautiful. With windows framing picturesque views of the North Yorkshire Moors, it offers a superb space to prepare delicious meals and enjoy them with friends and family. The kitchen features modern, cream cabinets and granite work surfaces, complete with all the modern appliances you could need, including a Neff oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Enjoy meals indoors at the solid oak dining table, which seats six, or step out onto the large balcony for al-fresco dining, where you can enjoy the stunning views around you as you eat, drink and plan your next day’s adventures. Looking for local dining options? There’s The Plough – a friendly pub with log burning fire just 5 minutes walk away, plus, there are shops, bakeries, and delis within a 10-minute stroll of the house to stock up on snacks and picnic lunches.

SLEEP

The house features three calming, boutique hotel-style bedrooms, located over the first and second floors. The master bedroom occupies the entire top floor and features a sumptuous king-size bed adorned with luxurious 600-thread-count linens, throws, and cushions. For ultimate indulgence, there’s a freestanding bath within the bedroom as well as a separate en-suite shower room with heated towel rails. On the first floor, the two additional bedrooms are equally as inviting: one with a king-size bed and the other with zip-and-link beds that can be configured as either twins or a super-king-size bed – perfect for couples or friends sharing. All bedrooms are furnished with deep mattresses, elegant linens, wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, and stylish curtains, ensuring a five-star feel. Hairdryers are provided in every room, as well as fluffy towels and Elemis toiletries. Please note, if you require further sleeping accommodation, a further two people can stay when interlinked with Ewelands Retreat.

REST

Relaxation is taken seriously at Eweland, so you’ll be able to unwind as you wish both indoors and outdoors. The interior decor is thoughtfully designed with a soft, neutral colour palette throughout, with natural tones and earthy textures that bring calm and peace. The spacious open-plan living area boasts underfloor heating, cosy cushion-filled sofas, and a charming log burner that’s wonderful to curl up in front of after a long day of walking and exploring. French doors open onto a large glazed balcony, offering panoramic views of the North Yorkshire Moors. Here you can enjoy morning coffee, sundowners, or a casual grill using the charcoal Weber BBQ. The outdoor area is also perfect for wildlife watching, and if you’re lucky you will catch sight of local deer and barn owls. There’s no garden, but the open space and tranquil surroundings make for an idyllic and peaceful setting. For home-from-home entertainment, there is a SMART TV with Netflix, an Apple iPad for music streaming, and a library of DVDs and books to borrow during your stay

You’ll struggle to find a lovelier Yorkshire Coast holiday cottage with a better location than Ewelands House. GROUND FLOOR

Guests enter the house into the hallway with cloakroom leading into the open plan sitting room/dining area/kitchen.

French windows lead out the the balcony with dining table and chairs for 6 guests and far reaching views.

FIRST FLOOR

The staircase leads to the first floor with two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other has zip and link beds that can be made up as twins or a super king bed. Default is twins please request on booking if your would like it to be made up as a superking.

There is a walk in shower room with heated towel rail.

SECOND FLOOR

The master bedroom with king sized bed has a freestanding bath in the bedroom with ensuite shower room and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE

Terrance/balcony leading out from the sitting room with outdoor seating for 6 guests and wonderful views.
