Festival of Flavours at RHS Harlow Carr

The RHS Garden Harlow Carr Festival of Flavours is a real treat for gardeners and foodies – celebrating growing, cooking and the changing of the seasons all in one. Enjoy live cookery demos and workshops including a special appearance from nutritional therapist, Sam Hamrebtan, sharing knowledge of soil and gut health. Firmly set to be a lively celebration of local culture and one not to miss this autumn.

Grassington 1940s Weekend
20th – 21st September 2025
Held annually every September since 2011, the Grassington 1940s Weekend invites you to step back to the British wartime era for two days of big band fun and entertainment. With re-enactments, vintage dance classes and period vehicle displays, it’s a total dedication to all things forties, as well as a big celebration of Grassington’s fine selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Part of the ever-popular York Food & Drink Festival, the Beer & Cider Festival returns again to the spectacular surroundings of St Lawrence Parish Church between 19th – 22th September.
