The Pink Apartment, Whitby, Yorkshire Coast

Pink Apartment is a cosy and stylish newly interior designed ground floor flat with high ceilings, beautiful features and deep sash windows and a wonderful retreat from the busy and vibrant streets of Whitby. The double bedroom has a superking bed with separate shower and the open plan sitting room/kitchen has a comfy sofa, smart tv and fitted kitchen looking towards Whitby Abbey.

• 1 small dog allowed £25 per stay please request on booking
• The flat is on the raised ground floor and there are steps up from the street to the front door
• A parking permit will be left in the apartment for your stay, you will need to scratch the relevant details on it and leave on your dashboard. This allows you to park on the street in disc zones.
• Alternatively, paid parking is available at the Silver Street car park directly opposite .

Pink Apartment in Wellington Terrace, Whitby is on the Ground Floor of a converted townhouse which has been lovingly restored and interior designed.

GROUND FLOOR

Guests enter through the front door into the hallway and Pink Apartment is immediately on the right with it’s own front door leading into the open plan sitting room/kitchen with cosy sofa, fitted kitchen and dining table and 2 chairs.

The bedroom is next door with superking bed, separate shower.

Whitby is an ancient port with a fascinating history, famed by Captain Cook and Brahm Stoker’s Dracula, with an iconic ruined abbey and working harbour. There are sandy beaches, with rock pools for children to explore, and some of the best fish and chips in the world!

The River Esk runs through a deep valley which broadens out as it comes near the harbour.

Robin Hoods Bay is close by with its old stone fishermen’s cottages and cobbled streets with cafes, restaurants, artisan shops and the view across the bay to the Ravenscar headland not to be missed.

There are wonderful local walks, with many stretches along the coastline via The Cleveland Way. Perhaps the most rewarding is the spectacular 3.5 mile stretch between Robins Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar.  The moors themselves also offer a wealth of walks further inland.

The Esk Valley Railway with services provided by Northern Rail has stations in both Sleights and Grosmont, where the North Yorkshire Moors Railway also has it’s base.

Whitby has a train station.
