The Blue Apartment, Whitby, Yorkshire Coast

Blue Apartment is a newly interior designed holiday apartment with a double bedroom along with a sofa bed in the living room which will happily accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children. Guests will feel on top of the world in this second floor apartment in Whitby with beautiful views from the sash windows as well as skylight windows for cloud chasing or star gazing. There is a cosy corner sofa for snuggling into when the weather forces you inside. The kitchen is kitted out for any budding chefs or keep life simple and grab award winning fish and chips and take the best seat in Whitby at the table with all the views.

Once in the bedroom at the back of the house, the hustle & bustle of Whitby is left well and truly behind you. A King size bed, luxurious bedding and a bath in the bedroom for extra decadence, dressing table, space to hang your holiday clothes and a separate shower room next door. The open plan sitting room/kitchen with original exposed beams has beautiful views over Whitby, a cosy corner sofa that converts into a sofa bed, smart tv, fitted kitchen and the perfect place to chill and unwind.

• Please note that that the sofa bed is either for one adult or 2 children and we kindly request that if you are 2 couples, please do not try and squeeze in, simply rent a second apartment here and have twice the colourful fun
• 1 small dog allowed £25 per stay please request on booking
• If you require the sofa bed please request this on the booking and the linen will be left for you
• Please note we cannot supply linen once guests have moved in to the apartment, this must be requested prior to arrival to allow us time to leave it out for guests
• Please note the apartment is on the second floor and there are stairs leading up to it
• Paid parking is available at the Silver Street car park directly opposite .

Blue Apartment in Wellington Terrace, Whitby is on the second floor of a converted townhouse which has been lovingly restored and interior designed.

SECOND FLOOR

Guests enter the house on the Ground Floor into the hallway with stairs leading up to the second floor with front door leading into Blue Apartment with open plan Sitting room/kitchen with cost L shaped sofa that can be used as a sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 children, fitted kitchen, small dining table.

The Bedroom is next door with king sized bed, bath in the bedroom and separate shower room.

Whitby is an ancient port with a fascinating history, famed by Captain Cook and Brahm Stoker’s Dracula, with an iconic ruined abbey and working harbour. There are sandy beaches, with rock pools for children to explore, and some of the best fish and chips in the world!

The River Esk runs through a deep valley which broadens out as it comes near the harbour.

Robin Hoods Bay is close by with its old stone fishermen’s cottages and cobbled streets with cafes, restaurants, artisan shops and the view across the bay to the Ravenscar headland not to be missed.

There are wonderful local walks, with many stretches along the coastline via The Cleveland Way. Perhaps the most rewarding is the spectacular 3.5 mile stretch between Robins Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar.  The moors themselves also offer a wealth of walks further inland.

The Esk Valley Railway with services provided by Northern Rail has stations in both Sleights and Grosmont, where the North Yorkshire Moors Railway also has it’s base.

Whitby has a train station.

Stunning apartment with amazing views over the Abbey.Had very new feel about the place and there’s been no expense spared on the fixtures and fittings,the bath in the bedroom was particularly enjoyed by the wife reading her book while having a soak on the evening, lovely design touch. We will be definitely booking this apartment again.

wonderful clean and tidy place with an easy check in. a wonderful view of the Abbey and an all around pleasant trip. the kitchen too is incredible!!
