It is located at the back of the house so you will find it very quiet and private, despite being right in the centre of the bustling town centre. The bedroom also features a lovely, airy dressing table and plenty of space for hanging your clothes. Next door, a separate shower room adds convenience, making it perfect for couples or small families. The apartment comfortably accommodates 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children with the sofa bed in the living room.

From the apartment, you can take in stunning views of Whitby Abbey, an iconic ruin that dominates the skyline. The town is known for its sandy beaches, rock pools, and bustling harbour. Nearby, Robin Hood’s Bay offers charming cobbled streets, cafes, and scenic coastal views. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Cleveland Way provides wonderful walking routes, including a spectacular 3.5-mile stretch between Robin Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar. The Esk Valley Railway connects to nearby stations, offering easy access to further exploration of the region.

Green Apartment in Wellington Terrace, Whitby is on the first floor of a converted townhouse which has been lovingly restored and interior designed.
FIRST FLOOR
Guests enter the house on the Ground Floor into the hallway with stairs leading up to the first floor with front door leading into Green Apartment with open plan Sitting room/kitchen with cosy sofa that can be used as a sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 children, fitted kitchen, small dining table.
The Bedroom is next door with king sized bed, bath in the bedroom and separate shower room.
Whitby is easily accessible by car and offers scenic drives through North Yorkshire’s stunning countryside. From York, take the A64 to Malton, then follow the A169 towards Whitby, which takes you through the beautiful North York Moors National Park. The town is approximately 1.5 hours from York and about 2 hours from Leeds. Once you reach Whitby, there are several car parks near the town centre, though some areas, especially along the coast, may be restricted during busy seasons.
The nearest airports to Whitby are Teesside International Airport (approx. 45 minutes by car) and Leeds Bradford Airport (about 1.5 hours by car). Teesside Airport offers flights within the UK, while Leeds Bradford has a wider range of international flights. From either airport, you can hire a car, or take a train or bus connection to reach Whitby.
Whitby is well connected by train, with direct services from Middlesbrough. The Esk Valley Line operated by Northern Rail connects Whitby with Middlesbrough, passing through picturesque countryside along the way. Trains from Middlesbrough to Whitby take about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and from London, you can take a train to Middlesbrough and then transfer. Whitby station is located just outside the town centre, with regular buses or a short walk into the heart of town.
Wonderful apartment – very clean and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Only a few mins walk to shops and 5 mins walk to the waterfront. Lovely decor and amenities. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Whitby.
