Start your day with a stroll through the charming market town, grab some fresh pastries and a coffee from one of the many independent bakeries or riverside cafés and pop into the shops to pick up second-hand books, keepsakes and locally-produced gifts. In just ten to fifteen minutes you can either be in the centre of Harrogate for fine dining, beautiful gardens and luxury shopping or taking a stunning walk through Nidd Gorge surrounding by the aroma of wild garlic and blankets of bluebells. The historic city of York is also a short drive or a mere 30 minute train ride away with regular trains from Knaresborough each day.
