À beautiful house, extremely well appointed and presented. Warm and cosy over New Year, with wood stoves and underfoot heating, as well as having an aga. Would highly recommend. Wonderful views, walks and cycle rides.
This was a fantastic house with comfortable living rooms and cosy bedrooms with comfy beds. The kitchen with its Aga was a delight and brilliantly equipped. Our hosts had thoughtfully provided stair gates for our toddlers, with highchair and cot. We had great walks from the front door straight out onto the moors and enjoyed ourselves enormously. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.
What a gorgeous house in the most beautiful setting. The house was extremely comfortable with luxury furnishings making it so easy to enjoy. Me and my cocker spaniel loved our week and wil definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Caldbergh house which we rented to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. The house is spacious, beautifully (and newly) decorated and immaculately clean. The views across the Yorkshire Dales can be seen from every window in the property and outside on the patio where we enjoyed breakfast each morning and BBQ’s and drinks each night. The decor inside the house is stunning, the beds are super comfortable and the shower is lovely and powerful. We really couldn’t fault our stay here. Also a little thank you for the fresh honey and apple juice and the wooden board games provided which we really enjoyed.
We had a great time and we hope that we will be able to make it again. It seemed to be too short. We could have stayed there forever.
The house was very well equipped and there were lots of different spaces in the house for people to congregate or escape from each other.
Amazing Large House, beautifully prepared in an amazing location. Absolute Luxury. Booking was made very easy by Yorkshire Escapes who kept me fully informed & updated.
A truly fabulous house with a beautiful view. Caldbergh House was a perfect house for our family get together, with plenty of space for everyone . The kitchen/diner was a real social hub in the centre of the house with lovely window seats looking onto the walled garden. The interior design was just stunning, luxurious but also very relaxing. There are walks with great views on your doorstep which our dogs enjoyed but the towns of Middleham and Leyburn are not far at all in the car.
The whole family loved the property which was very comfortable with lovely sofas and soft furnishings. The boot room was brilliant for soggy dogs and wet outdoor gear for lots of soggy people!
The garden has lovely views and would be lovely on sunny days and evenings. Thank you for a lovely time!
What a gorgeous place to stay. Caldbergh House exceeded all of our expectations – it was better than even the photos suggest, and the photos are lovely!
Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful house, we had a fantastic time. The location is perfect for a quiet stay and in easy reach of towns, villages and attractions to visit. The garden was also lovely, big patio seating area and grass for our dog to run around. I would highly recommend this house and would love to visit again!
Fantastic property in a lovely location.
Caldbergh House is just brilliant! We couldn’t have been more delighted with how comfortable and well appointed the house was. It has been so thoughtfully and beautifully decorated making for a luxurious home from home. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out and lovely to spend time in this room with far stretching views of Coverdale. The bedrooms are so comfortable and so nicely thought out. We also really loved having two sitting rooms while staying with children, as it meant they could have their own space, as could we. We thought it was great size of property with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views. The outdoor patio above the garden was the perfect sunny spot for our first bbq of the year! The location is perfect, as whilst tucked away in a lovely corner of Coverdale, it is only 10 minutes Leyburn. This is an incredible place to stay and we are already looking at booking again!
Last week we enjoyed four nights at Caldbergh House. It is spacious and has been completely renovated to a high standard, elegantly furnished and immaculately presented. The attention to detail is impressive and it is very well equipped including a four oven AGA, new Webber BBQ, etc. The immaculate garden is fully enclosed so safe for dogs and young children.
It is located in a very tranquil setting surrounded by delightful Yorkshire Dale countryside and ideally located for nearby towns and attractions. The owners visited us a couple of times and explained the house used to be his family home and perhaps this helps to explain the passion and thoroughness evident in its renovation. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Caldbergh House and can imagine returning in future.
A really beautiful house, very spacious, beautifully presented and with everything we needed. Set in an amazing landscape, peaceful but within reach of all the places we wanted to see.
We all really enjoyed our stay at Caldbergh House, which was beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high spec. Please pass our thanks to the owner. And thank you for the quick response to our initial request for more supplies. We would highly recommend Caldbergh House.
