Victoria Bilborough
Founder
Victoria has lived in Yorkshire most of her life, so her knowledge of the area is extensive. Prior to setting up Yorkshire Escapes, she worked as an estate and lettings agent, and an interior designer – she ran her own business in London for 4 years. Victoria also managed numerous property builds in Yorkshire therefore her accumulated knowledge of property, plus her love of the area, puts her in an ideal position to run Yorkshire Escapes.
Her intuitive understanding of what clients and customers want and need is second to none and since she founded Yorkshire Escapes, her USP has remained, and will remain to be, the personal touch to ensure a bespoke experience for all parties. In her personal time, you can find Victoria cycling through the Yorkshire Dales, spending time with family and friends and walking her beautiful dogs.

Laura Jackson
Account Director
With a background in fashion and design, Laura joined the Yorkshire Escapes team in 2021 after relocating from the North East. Her attention to detail, creative flair and adaptability made her an ideal addition to the Yorkshire Escapes team where (alongside her office-mate Inca) she helps with the day-to-day management of properties and bookings.
Outside of Yorkshire Escapes, Laura loves to sew and enjoys spending time with her partner Josh, exploring the Yorkshire countryside with their fox red and golden Labradors, Bella and Pippa.

Tom Bilborough
Business Development
Born and bred in Yorkshire, Tom began his career in London, jumping straight into the IT and SaaS world. He worked in sales for an IT business building relationships with new clients. He hit the ground running and soon became a valued employee due to his knowledge of the service and product. Fast forward a few years, Tom was headhunted by a tech start-up to join the sales team.
In his personal time, Tom enjoys playing football and walking his dogs through the Yorkshire Dales.

Kitty Bilborough
Marketing Manager
Kitty was born in Yorkshire and heads up the digital marketing department for Yorkshire Escapes. For five years she worked for a leading London Estate Agent in the lettings department, building strong relationships with clients and meeting competitive company targets. Although this was a fast-paced role with no rest for the wicked, Kitty completely fell in love with property and soon began moving her way up the ladder.
In her personal time, Kitty enjoys touring Yorkshire on her bike, skiing, spending time with friends and family and walking in the dales with her dog Dido.

Jo Hunter
Head of Accounting
Jo has worked as an accountant for the last 16 years, and a qualified chartered accountant for the latter 10 years. Once she became qualified, Jo was given an amazing opportunity to work and live in the Cayman Islands, before moving back to be with friends and family in 2014. In the UK, Jo worked for Murray Harcourt, YRG Ground Ltd and now she heads up the accounts department for Yorkshire Escapes! Jo – we don’t know what we’d do without you!
In her own time, Jo enjoys exercising, eating out with family and friends, her family home, and of course her gorgeous son Harry.

Lisa Walker
Office Manager
Lisa Walker relocated with her dogs to North Yorkshire from South Africa. She is our most recent member of the team. She comes from a background in office management and client services and will assist Laura and Victoria in the office with booking and general enquiries.
In her personal time she enjoys gardening and walking in the Dales with her dogs.
Inca
Office Dog
Inca loves spending her days in the office specialising in distraction when it is most needed (and sometimes when it definitely isn’t) by comically flipping in circles and eagerly jumping up on your knee to check you’re ok. However, her strongest talent has to be fly catching – without this in the summer, Yorkshire Escapes would be at a loss.
In her personal time, Inca sunbathes on the office steps, patrols incoming deliveries and chases the other dogs around the garden (with or without consent). We are extremely grateful for everything she has done at Yorkshire Escapes – keep up the good work Inca!
