EAT
The large modern family kitchen/dining space is a joy to cook in with its double-height ceilings, wooden worktops and contemporary artworks. There is a stylish dining area for all guests to sit together and enjoy family meals, as well as space outdoors to eat and drink in good weather.
SLEEP
The barn sleeps ten guests in five bedrooms with four on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Four are double bedrooms, three of which have ensuite bathrooms and a double and twin room that share one family bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Each bedroom is decorated with its own unique style, featuring bespoke furniture, artwork and soft furnishings.
RELAX
You will love the quirky interior space with the mix of contemporary and retro styles. The house has plenty of space to socialise and relax. The lawned garden and small stream offer plenty of room to sit and play outside as well as enjoy the countryside air with a mug of coffee or glass of wine. In the winter months, you can sit by the large cosy fire in the sitting room which includes a generous L-shaped sofa, TV and Sonos music system.

Layout
The house consists of 5 bedrooms. 4 double bedrooms, 2 of which have ensuite bathrooms and a twin room. There is one family bathroom with a bath/shower.
The large family kitchen/dining space has double-height ceilings, additional seating and TV and a large log burner. This leads to the cosy sitting room which includes a generous L-shaped sofa, TV and Sonos sound system.

The nearest train station is Thirsk or Northallerton which are on the mainline London to Edinburgh service.

Wisteria Barn is a beautiful property in a secluded rural setting amid lovely countryside. With only the sounds of nature to disturb you it was as peaceful a location as you could ever hope for yet only 4 miles from Ripon with all its amenities including a great M&S, restaurants pubs etc. and the beautiful cathedral. We loved our week there and were sorry to leave. It has to be the loveliest place we have ever stayed in.
We had a wonderful stay with our two daughters and their families. There was plenty of space in front of the house for badminton, rounders etc. The stream behind the house was good for paddling and building nests. Dining and cooking space worked well for our group, as did the lounge area. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Particularly great for chilling and meeting up with family and friends in quieter part of the Dales.
We all had a lovely stay. The property is stunning in beautiful gardens and there are lots of local pubs within a 10 minute drive. The host was really helpful and responsive, and we were sent lots of really useful information prior to going. There were 6 of us and the property was plenty big enough. I would really recommend this place, we thought it was very good value.
We had a fabulous 3-night stay at this wonderfully dreamy property. The scale of the barn allowed us to meet with friends from across the UK in a comfortable but luxury way. The house generally had everything you could need and was decorated beautifully. The location was great to access Ripon and Harrogate and we also found some lovely walks on the door step too. The outside garden space was beautiful and the house was clean and warm. The hosts were also fantastic and quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely return to the property and want to thank all at Wisteria barn for having us!! We had the best time!!
Great house with loads of room. We went for a family get together and it had everything that we needed for a chilled fun weekend together. Close to shops if you need it but peaceful and out of the way. Also great that we could bring the dog.

Great stay at this comfortable and stylish home set amidst beautiful countryside. We were a group of 7 and felt we had loads of space to spread out in. Enjoyed the sight & sound of cows in adjacent field.
A great house for a family gathering in a peaceful location with a lovely garden and some very comfortable outside furniture to seat and enjoy the sunshine. A great base to enjoy Ripon and the local area .
Great spot- very private and good outdoor space to sit and chill in. Stream nearby which the kids loved exploring. House has everything you need so feels like ‘home from home’. Lots of space for everyone to spread out in or come together. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It felt very relaxed which is what we were looking for. Would recommend for sure.
