The Holt is a recently-renovated one-bedroom apartment set within the Coach House at Eastfield Lodge. Located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales it offers a cosy retreat offers the perfect getaway for two people, with easy access to Leyburn and nearby attractions.

EAT

The apartment features a modern, well-equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing casual meals during your stay. There is an electric oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge, and all the essentials for self-catering. The small dining area is bright and airy, providing a lovely place to eat breakfast and dinner. Fancy eating out? Leyburn town centre is just a five-minute walk away and offers a range of dining options including traditional pubs, quaint cafes, and local shops surrounding the market square. For a special occasion, you could visit Tennants Auction House for a unique experience, or head to nearby Middleham for local restaurants serving delicious food, including The Saddle Room.

SLEEP

The Holt boasts a spacious bedroom with a Superking bed that can be split into two single beds if preferred. The room is bright and modern and has ample space for all your things. A further sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space, ideal for one adult or two small children if you let us know upon booking. The bathroom includes a shower and a heated towel rail.

With a modern design and natural light flowing through the windows, the apartment feels bright and airy. If you’re looking for a quiet moment, the peaceful setting of East Witton offers an ideal place to wander.

Ideally located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Leyburn’s traditional shops, cafes, and pubs are just a five-minute walk away, while nearby attractions like Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle, and Swinton Castle and Spa provide plenty of sights to see. Set off along the Tour de Yorkshire cycle route or pick one of the many beautiful, scenic walks nearby. Middleham is famous for its castle and racehorse training yards, so worth a visit for horse-lovers. For a good dose of family fun, visit The Forbidden Corner, an enchanting maze of surprises, and enjoy lunch at The Saddle Room restaurant!

• There is sofa bed that can be used for 1 additional adult or 2 children if they are under 6/7 yrs old. There is an additional cost of £35.00 per person per night.
• There is 1 super king size beds that can be split into singles. PLEASE REQUEST ON BOOKING BED FORMATIONS
• Dogs are welcome in The Holt at £15 per dog per night by arrangement
• Dogs are not permitted in the Bedroom or on furniture. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
• Sorry no Hen or Stag parties are allowed.
• EV Charger available but shared with the main house.
• You can also book The Den (sleeping 2 + a sofa bed)
