EAT

Drover’s Cottage provides a wonderful, social open-plan space to prepare and enjoy meal times as a group. The large downstairs space incorporates a shaker-style kitchen with a breakfast island, large comfy sofas, an open fire, underfloor heating and a Smart TV. There is a large dining table that fits all guests for mealtimes and is a perfect space for entertaining. The property’s enclosed garden features a terrace, outdoor seating and a BBQ that you can utilise during your stay. 

SLEEP 

All four double bedrooms are located on the first floor with ensuite bathrooms and televisions in each. Three of the bedrooms have zip and link beds that can be made up as singles or doubles, so please state your preferences upon booking. The bedroom decor is neutral and chic, allowing you to enjoy relaxation and a comfortable night’s sleep.

GROUND FLOOR

Guests enter the house through the back door into the utility area which takes them through to the  large open plan Sitting room, kitchen, dining area with open fire, comfy sofas and smart television.  The modern shaker style kitchen has a double oven with ceramic hob and extractor fan and leads to the Utility room and downstairs cloakroom. There is a front door with small hallway leading into the open plan sitting room.

The hallway has stone flagged floors, underfloor heating and french windows leading out onto the terrace and garden. There is a wooden staircase leading from the hall to the first floor.

FIRST FLOOR

Stairs lead to the first floor with 4 double bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite, 3 of the bedrooms are superkings and can be made up as a double or twins and the fourth bedroom is a double.

GARDEN

Parking available and an enclosed garden with terrace, outdoor seating and gas BBQ

Drovers’ Cottage is located in the beautiful Nidderdale countryside.

Kirkby Malzeard is 3 miles away and Pateley Bridge is a 10-minute drive and has a good range of shops and facilities.

Ripon is 10 miles away.

The nearest railway station is Harrogate, a 20-minute drive. Taxis are usually available at the station.

We had a fabulous stay at Drovers Cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage has a great space for socialising but with a bathroom for every bedroom, it was easy to escape the crowd. It was clean and warm with a well equipped kitchen. We had beautiful sunshine and enjoyed seeing and hearing the birds all day but the highlight was seeing the barn owl at dawn.

Great place to stay, big soft beds with spacious en-suites. Downstairs a large space for entertaining and cooking and a lovely outdoor space.

Drovers Cottage was immaculately presented in beautiful surroundings. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my family.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful property for a friends 40th. It had everything we needed, we can’t wait to return.

Great house for a group get together. Lovely and warm and very spacious. Really well equipped with all the requirements we needed for a family break for new year. Great location quiet and rural but with loads to do in the local area. Great walking from the door especially the Mosaic Trail from the door.
