For a sweet treat, be sure to visit the Cuckoo Hill View Ice Cream Parlour or stop by The Copper Kettle Tearoom for the cutest afternoon tea. The village also has the Two Dales Bakery, offering freshly baked goods.

SLEEP

The bedroom at Charlie’s is a tranquil haven. With it’s vaulted oak beams and large windows offering panoramic views of Fremington Edge, you can relax in peace, while the sumptuous super king-size bed with crisp white linens promises a restful sleep after a day of exploring the Dales. The room also features a snuggle chair and a 32” TV, perfect for unwinding with a book or a glass of wine. This is a perfect country bolthole that’s perfect for unwinding. The downstairs open-plan living area features a cosy sitting room with a log burner, ideal for a relaxing evening by the fire. A 43” smart TV with Netflix provides entertainment for nights in. The bathroom, beautifully tiled with a double-ended bath and separate rainfall shower, offers a spa-like experience for ultimate relaxation. The enclosed garden allows you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings with your dogs, offering a secure spot for outdoor relaxation. Surrounded by nature, with birds, sheep, and the Arkle beck nearby, you’ll feel completely at ease.

EXPLORE

The stunning landscapes of Swaledale await you! Swaledale is amazing for outdoor lovers and offers endless opportunities for exploration, with many stunning walks right from your doorstep. Reeth is an ideal base to discover the Dales, with its close proximity to hiking and biking routes. You can explore the Swaledale Museum, visit the Dales Bike Centre, or enjoy the local craft centre to pick up handmade goods from local artisans. The village is bustling with life, offering plenty of things to do, including a weekly market and a variety of shops, cafes, and pubs. Downstairs comprises of one large open plan living area – a luxury fully integrated kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The sitting area is cosy with a log burner and 43″ smart TV and Netflix subscription.

Upstairs, is the spacious bedroom with lots of character. A sumptuous super king size bed with crisp white sheets awaits you after long days adventuring around the dales. Relax and unwind reading book or watching the 32″ TV from the snuggle chair whilst enjoying a glass of something cold.

The bathroom is beautifully tiled with a vanity sink, LED mirror with shaver socket, double ended bath and a separate rainfall shower.

By Car:

Reeth is easily accessible by car, located in the heart of Swaledale. From the A1, take the A6108 toward Leyburn, and then follow the B6270, which leads you directly to Reeth. The village is about 40 miles from the city of York and 50 miles from Leeds. The drive is scenic, passing through picturesque countryside and offering a smooth route for travellers.

By Train:

The nearest train station to Reeth is in Richmond, about 9 miles away. From Richmond, you can take a local taxi or bus to reach Reeth. The closest mainline stations are in York or Darlington, both of which offer direct train services to London, Edinburgh, and other major cities. From these stations, it’s a short taxi or bus ride to Reeth.

By Plane:

The nearest major airport to Reeth is Leeds Bradford Airport, about 50 miles away. Alternatively, Newcastle International Airport is approximately 80 miles away, and Teesside International Airport is about 55 miles away. From any of these airports, you can hire a car, take a taxi, or use public transport to reach Reeth. The drive offers beautiful views as you approach the Yorkshire Dales.
