The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with a farmhouse dining table that’s perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals and locally-sourced delicacies. You’ll find all the essentials including a dishwasher, a full-height fridge/freezer, an electric oven, and an induction hob. There’s also a utility cupboard with a washing machine and tumble dryer if you need them. If you prefer eating out, then the nearby village shop offers local produce, and there is also a lovely country pub just 2 miles away for hearty Yorkshire fayre.

SLEEP

The bedroom is a peaceful haven, designed to provide a wonderful night’s sleep. Equipped with a Hypnos super king bed, high ceilings and plenty of storage space, it’s certainly a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning or unwinding in the evening, the cosy bedroom will help you recharge and feel completely at ease during your stay.

By Plane:

Fly to Leeds Bradford Airport (about 40 miles), then drive or take a taxi to Helmsley.

Alternatively, fly to Teesside International Airport (about 35 miles), then drive to Helmsley.

By Train:

From London: Take a train from London King’s Cross to York, then transfer to a bus or taxi to Helmsley (about 30 miles from York).

From Manchester: Train to York, then transfer to a bus or taxi to Helmsley.
