With six bright and airy bedrooms, The Old Granary offers the perfect large self-catering holiday home for big groups. Relaxing is simple here so you can sit back and take it easy in the sitting room with a warm drink and enjoy the log burner with a generous supply of logs. Children will love the freedom of the outdoor space, with a swing set, a slide and monkey bars. The Old Granary backs onto the owner’s farmland, so there’s plenty of wildlife and animals to see including guinea fowl, geese, chickens and turkeys. There’s also a well-equipped games room, with a TV, table tennis table, pool table and darts, as well as a wood-burning stove to enhance the atmosphere. Two hot tubs make the outdoor decking area the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a full day of coastal adventure.
Sherburn sits halfway between Yorkshire’s Food Capital of Malton and the seaside town of Scarborough, in the Vale of Pickering. The Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail long-distance footpath runs just south of The Old Granary through the owner’s farmland, with wonderful wildlife and rolling hills to explore. Slightly further afield, the historic City of York is great for a day out with excellent shopping and a fantastic array of restaurants and cafes.

The Granary was the perfect location for our family get together to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The grounds and gardens were ideal for the youngest members of the family to play safely in and for the older members to relax in, and all in beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t have wished for more!
My 70th birthday party was certainly one to remember. The Old Granary was the perfect location. All the family, plus their various dogs (7 in all) had a whale of a time.
The furnishings were beautiful and everything you need was supplied in the huge kitchen.
The family loved the games room and the field, for sports fun and games, was perfect for dogs and grandkids to let off steam.
The hot tubs went down a treat too. Couldn’t have wished for a better venue.
I can honestly say this is the most beautiful property I have ever stayed in! I booked this venue for my friends 50th birthday. Literally everything is thought of to make sure your stay is as relaxed as you want it to be! We literally had the most amazing time and can’t wait to book again!
