The Old Farm is a five-star self-catering holiday property that sits majestically on the edge of the charming village of Sherburn. Nestled between the bustling market town of Malton and the idyllic seaside resort of Scarborough, this property is an oasis in the beautiful Vale of Pickering, promising the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenity.

The Old Farm’s kitchen is a chef’s delight, fully equipped to cater to your culinary experiments, allowing you to enjoy home-cooked meals, even when you’re away from home. The dining area is next door with log burner dividing the sitting and dining area.

There is an indoor hot tub/spa area and games room and the garden is the perfect spot for outdoor dining, relaxing with a book, or simply soaking in the serenity of the surrounding countryside.

There is one bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the second floor and the third floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms suitable for 14/16 guests, please see the floor plans below for details on bed formations

This detached Grade II listed former farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated into a wonderful space that is stylish and fits beautifully with its surroundings.  Modern furnishings are mixed in with the original features such as stairs, doors and sash windows.

We have extended up into the attic, keeping the lovely wooden beams but creating extra space so The Old Farm can offer seven bedrooms, three bathrooms and an ensuite shower room, letting you cater for up to 16 people with ease.

Our beamed Sitting Room and Dining Rooms share a double–sided wood burner, with plentiful fuel provided. The large, spacious kitchen has a sociable centre island.

Sink into the large indoor party spa or use the well-equipped games room with a pool table and darts board.

Younger visitors can enjoy our child-friendly enclosed garden, featuring an outdoor play area with a slide and swing set.

There’s a village pub, two village shops, fish and chip shop and half a mile out of the village Trotters Farm Shop selling home reared produce and award-winning sausages.

The Old Farm is also in an excellent spot if you’re a keen walker or cyclist, with the Wolds Way running close by and the North Yorkshire Moors and Dalby Forest just a short drive away.

Perfect big family escape. Very relaxed and chilled. Plenty of space for young and old to do their thing but also congregate together without feeling crowded. Was very warm and cozy despite the damp cold weather. Will certainly come back
