Fantastic hosts who were very responsive. The house is beautiful and I would highly recommend.
Wonderful property – decorated impeccably. Gorgeous views and walks all around. Highly recommend.
Comfortable and spacious house, which we would definitely visit again. We stayed here with teenage children and two dogs. The layout of the house is great. It also works well for the dogs, as the back garden is spacious with good access from the utility room and open-plan kitchen/diner. A lovely view over open fields and easy to walk into Richmond avoiding the main road. Comfortable beds, lovely towels and bedding. Well-equipped kitchen.
This is a really excellent option for a stay. Very handy access to Richmond and to the Dales beyond, and far more room that one would get in the middle of town. Lovely views from the back garden dining patio and lawn also. Inside, the school house conversion is immaculate – evidently very well considered. Lovely open-plan kitchen and dining area, cosy tv snug room, and a real bonus to have four en-suite double-sized bathrooms, a separate downstairs loo and a utility room. All very accessible via the multiple entry doors for anyone with mobility issues (as was the case with one of our party). The housekeepers were lovely, filling us in on the some of the history of the property. Very much recommended.
School House was beautifully presented and a delight to stay in. The welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch and we loved the location & surrounding areas. We will definitely be back.
Had a lovely week of glorious sunshine at School House. The property is lovely and comfortable with Richmond having plenty of places for food and walks. The bread from The Station was great and the farm shop at Mainsgill was good for the BBQ. Hopefully be back soon!
