SLEEP

Sleeping up to 12 guests across six bright and beautiful bedrooms, Strathearn House offers space for everyone to relax in complete comfort.

On the ground floor there is a welcoming king sized bedroom that can be split into twin beds which is ideal for grandparents and guests who prefer to avoid stairs, or teenagers who want a little privacy during their stay.

The main staircase leads to the first floor with four spacious bedrooms. A luxurious super king bedroom sits next to the family bathroom, while the impressive master suite boasts a king-size bed, dressing room, private ensuite and lovely views across the garden. There are also two flexible zip-and-link bedrooms, one can be a superking or twin bed, complete with its own ensuite shower room, the other a king bedroom or twin beds with an ensuite shower room.

The second floor is home to a charming private bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a double bed and its own cloakroom, creating a peaceful hideaway away from the rest of the house. Guests in this bedroom will need to use the first floor bath.

REST

Designed with together time in mind, Strathearn House also offers plenty of space to spread out and unwind.

The beautiful sitting room is warm, bright and inviting, centred around a contemporary electric fire that is perfect for cosy evenings after a day exploring Yorkshire.

Hidden behind a secret staircase is one of the home’s best surprises — a fantastic den-style games room complete with its own bar, pool table, drinks fridge and darts board. It’s a brilliant space for friendly competitions and evening entertainment.

Film nights are taken to the next level in the dedicated cinema room on the second floor, where reclining sofas invite everyone to settle in for a blockbuster, while the adjoining gaming area is sure to keep younger guests entertained.

Outside, the spacious enclosed garden is just as impressive. Children can enjoy their own play park while the grown-ups relax in the hot tub or sink into the comfortable sofas inside the contemporary garden room. The fire pit creates the perfect gathering place as the sun sets, while the outdoor TV means you won’t miss a moment of the action.

A large boot room and utility room make life easy after countryside walks, and there’s ample parking for several cars behind secure private gates.
