EAT

Gather, cook, catch up and eat together in style. The main house kitchen at Cedar House is modern, spacious and well-equipped kitchen and is perfect for whipping up everything from relaxed breakfasts to celebratory dinners. The dining room has seating for all guests around a stunning bespoke dinner table – providing the ideal atmosphere for special dinners and long conversations into the night. Al fresco dining is also a delight here, thanks to the outdoor kitchen and bar. Socialise together on the colourful outdoor furniture, feast on freshly made BBQ food, and finish the night with a hot tub on the patio.

SLEEP

The house comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across seven bedrooms, each uniquely styled for a boutique feel and with its own en-suite bathroom.

The Main House features accommodation for 10 guests with:

• 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor
• 3 double bedrooms on the first floor

For larger groups of 11 to 14 guests, the Chalet adds:

• 2 additional ground floor double bedrooms both with en suite facilities – perfect for grandparents or teenagers wanting privacy.

Every bedroom is designed with comfort in mind, featuring luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen, along with complimentary slippers, bathrobes, and a selection of toiletries.

This is a place where you can unwind in complete privacy surrounded only by nature. The house’s peaceful rural setting makes it easy to switch off and recharge – whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee outdoors, spending time with family in the lounge, or simply soaking up the calm atmosphere from your bedroom. Enjoy the early morning sunshine on the garden swing with a coffee and your book, while make leisurely plans for the rest of the day.

Discover scenic walking routes, cycle through pretty villages, and enjoy the natural beauty of the region right on your doorstep. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here at Cedar House. The house is 22 miles from York and 26 miles to Hull.

Getting Here

By Car

Cedar House is easily accessible by car and conveniently located within reach of major road networks, including the M62 and M18. The lodge is set in a peaceful rural location just outside Eastrington, with clear access via Barmby Lane. Ample on-site parking is available for all guests.

By Train

The nearest train station is Eastrington, which offers connections to larger hubs such as Goole, Hull, and Leeds. From the station, Woodland Lodge is just a short taxi ride away.

By Plane

The closest airports include Humberside Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport, both within reasonable driving distance of the lodge.
