Tithe Barn is a stunning luxury barn conversion that offers the ultimate Yorkshire holiday home for up to six people. Rooted in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the property boasts breathtaking views, a spacious enclosed garden featuring a stream, a private hot tub, and contemporary interiors. It’s the perfect rural retreat for those seeking relaxation, adventure and luxury.

EAT

The open-plan kitchen and dining area have been designed for convenience but are also incredibly stylish. With granite countertops and a wooden dining island, it’s also fully equipped with a ceramic hob, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, and oven. It’s a wonderful space to prepare and enjoy meals together as a family or group of friends. As a playful touch, there’s also a pool table in the living area, so you can enjoy a game while dinner is in the oven! When the weather is nice, the outdoor space is perfect for al fresco dining. There is a charcoal BBQ and lovely outdoor seating on the decking which overlooks the garden and countryside beyond.

SLEEP

There are three lovely, modern bedrooms on the ground floor, each designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted smart TV, and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed and the third bedroom is a twin room, but can also be set up as a double bed if you request this beforehand. These two bedrooms share a bathroom complete with a large walk-in monsoon shower. All three bedrooms have underfloor heating, ensuring you keep cosy and comfortable in any weather.

RELAX

The first-floor open-plan living space is a wonderful spot to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring the neighbourhood. Here you will find comfortable sofas, a wood burner, and a smart TV, making it ideal for a family movie night or a cosy night in with friends. There’s also a Bluetooth Apple Smart speaker for playing your favourite tunes while you relax. Outside, there is a decking area, where you’ll find a large hot tub surrounded by stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside. The hot tub is under cover with an open side, providing both privacy and a weatherproof option for even the rainiest of days. The garden also has a stream running through it, creating a peaceful and tranquil spot to read or enjoy some quiet, mindful time.

EXPLORE

Tithe Barn’s location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park makes it an excellent base if you love outdoor adventures. Hikers can find their way to nearby Skipton railway station, which provides easy access to the Three Peaks and other scenic walking routes, or you can explore iconic landmarks like Malham Cove, with its impressive limestone formations, and Gordale Scar, both of which feature in the Harry Potter films. Skipton Golf Club is also on your doorstep if you’re a keen golfer and are looking for a round with friends. The pretty Yorkshire villages of Grassington and Kettlewell are also nearby, offering great walking, cycling, and sightseeing opportunities. Skipton is also close by with its bustling high street with a mix of independent shops, cafés, and tea rooms, as well as the historic Skipton Castle. For an indulgent treat, you can head to the Angel Inn at Hetton, a Michelin-starred gastropub just a few miles away.

Tithe Barn set in a lovely rural location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with extensive views overlooking Pendle Hill and within walking distance of Skipton with its long, cobbled high street, mix of independent and high street shops, cafés and tea rooms. Stroll along the canal, through the woods or discover Norman history at Skipton Castle. The railway station in Skipton has regular trains to the 3 peaks and other excellent hiking routes are available

Within 10 miles drive is Malham with its breathtaking 260ft high limestone cove. If you’re feeling fit, climb the steps to the top where you’ll be rewarded with magnificent views down the dale and be able to see one of the finest examples of limestone pavement in the country, which was also used in a scene from one of the Harry Potter films. Alternative easy walks include Gordale Scar, also a film location for Harry Potter.

For a relaxing day out venture further into the Yorkshire Dales to the picturesque villages of Grassington, 12 miles, and Kettlewell, 5 miles further, calling at Kilnsey Trout Farm on the way and a stop off to watch the climbers hang off Kilnsey Crag. Many walks and cycle routes for all abilities can be found here and all around the area.

The Angel Inn at Hetton, a Michelin Starred gastropub, is a few miles away and Skipton Golf Club is 5 minutes away for golfers and a driving range is 2 minutes away.

The place is stunning! Perfect getaway for us and friends. Spotlessly clean and the bed was sooo comfy. It’s the best Airbnb due to the decor I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely perfect

We stayed at the barn over the New Year’s Eve period and had a fantastic stay. The property is really spacious and well appointed with three great sized bedrooms and ample living space for 6 people (plus a large garden). The location is ideal as it’s incredibly peaceful but still only 5 minutes from the charming town of Skipton and all its amenities. We also really appreciated how responsive the host/owner was when there was a minor problem due to stormy weather. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful home with everything needed. The Barn was warm and comfortable and of a high standard. Felt right get at home immediately especially with the Christmas trees and seasonal decorations. Would definitely visit again.

We had an absolute beautiful time. The location was 10/10 The cottage was wonderful and clean, beds and pillows were all good quality. We had chickens and sheep roaming in the front garden which we thought added to our stay. It just made staying out in the country side more special. We would 100% stay again!!
