The Lakehouse boasts a huge, contemporary, open-plan kitchen, which is perfect for both casual meal prep and upscale entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with spacious worktops, modern appliances, an Aga, and a wide selection of cookware, making it a chef’s dream working area, as well as a social hub to enjoy time together. A solid wood dining table sits in the centre of the open-plan dining area, framed by three sets of double doors that open onto a beautiful outdoor terrace, surrounded by nature. Whether you’re cooking a family feast or enjoying a celebratory meal, the space offers a joyous atmosphere, making every moment feel special. On warmer days, the terrace provides a gorgeous setting to eat al fresco and enjoy the stunning North Yorkshire scenery and sounds of wildlife.

SLEEP

With six beautifully styled bedrooms, The Lakehouse offers a five-star hotel feel with every amenity covered. The vibrant master bedroom is located on the first floor, featuring a super king bed framed by a floral feature wall and a stylish en suite shower room. This room also benefits from a large, covered balcony, perfect for morning coffee or stargazing before bed. There is also another double bedroom on the first floor, also with an en suite. The remaining four bedrooms are located on the second floor and include three super king rooms and one double. One of the super king rooms has an additional single beds, allowing for an extra two guests, meaning you can increase the occupancy up to fourteen if needed.

The Lakehouse is located in Sandsend, just a 10-minute drive from Whitby, making it easily accessible by car.

By Train:

Whitby station is a short 15-minute drive away, offering connections to surrounding towns and villages along the North Yorkshire coast. There are also nearby bus routes, including the X4 to coastal villages like Runswick Bay and Staithes.

By Plane:

For air travel, Teesside International Airport is about 50 miles away, and Leeds Bradford Airport is approximately 70 miles. Both airports provide easy access to the property via car or public transport.
