The Blue Lion, a gastro pub is right on your doorstep, and is well-known for its delicious meals and friendly atmosphere.  A short drive away, the village of Middleham also offers a great variety of pubs, tea rooms, and a village store. The Forbidden Corner is a great family experience and is also home to The Saddle Room restaurant – a popular spot for lunch and drinks. A little further away, Leyburn’s market town has its traditional cafes, pubs, and Tennant’s Auction House Bistro. Whether you prefer fine dining or a casual meal, you’ll find plenty of excellent options within a short distance from here!

East Witton is easily accessible by car, located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It is 7 miles from Leyburn and 13 miles from the market town of Masham. From the A1, take the A684 toward Leyburn and follow the signs to East Witton. The drive through the Dales offers stunning views, making the journey an enjoyable part of the experience.

By Train:

The nearest train station to East Witton is in Northallerton, approximately 17 miles away. From Northallerton, you can take a taxi or bus to East Witton. Alternatively, you can travel to Leyburn or Bedale stations, which are also within a short distance from the village.

By Plane:

The nearest airports to East Witton are Leeds Bradford Airport (approximately 40 miles away) and Teesside International Airport (about 50 miles away). From either airport, you can hire a car or take public transportation to reach the village. The drive offers scenic views as you approach the Yorkshire Dales.
