Dairy Cottage is a beautiful two-bedroom, dog-friendly holiday cottage in Masham that has been newly renovated to a high standard. With pretty furnishings and modern interiors, it’s the perfect base to explore North Yorkshire and everything it has to offer.

Eat

The modern kitchen is perfect for prepping easy home cooked dinners and delicious weekend breakfasts with your family. There is a relaxed dining table for four people in the open plan living area. The White Bear pub is a popular choice if you fancy eating out and is located close by.

Sleep

The stairs lead upstairs to a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and a further twin room with two cosy single beds. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom with a modern shower.

Relax

The bright open plan living area and kitchen are stylishly furnished, with two very comfortable sofas, and a wall-mounted Smart television. Wifi is available.

Explore

The cottage is perfectly situated in Masham in the heart of Wensleydale. It’s within walking distance of the traditional Market Square with its sweet shops and numerous cafes and pubs. Theakston’s Visitor Centre is on the doorstep along with the Black Sheep Brewery, two of the UK’s oldest Breweries, which both provide tours.

Ground Floor

Through the front door you enter into the kitchen/ living room with 2 comfy sofas, electric log burner and dining table. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, electric oven and hob.

First Floor

Up the stairs there is the master room to the left with a zip and link king size bed. There is also a twin room and a family bathroom with shower.

Exterior

There is parking for 1 car in front of the cottage. To access the cottage there are 5 steps up.

Masham, North Yorkshire is situated on the River Ure, is a thriving market town and has a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, butchers and local fruit and vegetable shops all within walking distance of the cottage. There is also a local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Tour de Yorkshire passes through Masham every year and the local area provides wonderful cycling routes.

Northallerton 14 miles.

Both train stations are on the direct main line from London and the train takes 2.5 hours

from Kings Cross Station.

Fantastic cottage that felt like a home from home and enough space for us as a family of four to relax. Good sized kitchen and lounge area with a nice master bedroom.

We had a fantastic stay over the Christmas period. We love Masham and have been regular visitors over the years but it was great over the festive period. Cottage was beautiful, very clean , easy to access and very close to everything. Even though very close to the White Bear Pub, very quiet and peaceful and was nice to have the buzz and people about. Great, helpful host who is very responsive… overall great stay, Thank you.

Lovely homely cottage. Excellent location. Very clean and well equipped. LOVED the Bluetooth Mirror in bathroom to stream your favourite tunes whilst having a shower.  Great base to go for walks and sightseeing. We would stay here again.

A very nice cottage in a great position. Everything was very clean and In excellent condition . A very good shower with plenty of hot water. The cottage was warm and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I plan my next trip to Yorkshire.

Fantastic Cottage, in a Great Location 2 minutes walk to The Market Square with Shops, Cafés, Pubs. Can Highly recommend The Kings Head and The White Bear for food(Sunday Lunch is amazing). The Village is lovely with lots if pretty Cottages and buildings, we will definitely return

We had a very enjoyable stay – the cottage was very comfortable and well presented.

Absolutely perfect place for our family to stay during our trip to Yorkshire. The cottage is super comfy and cosy and spotlessly clean. It’s in the ideal location too. Masham is gorgeous and the cottage is seconds away from the centre. The shower is fantastic and it has everything you could need. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to other travellers.

Excellent house for a week. Well decorated and equipped. Perfect position for stroll to town and across the car park from The White Bear pub & restaurant. Definitely go back.

The house had everything we needed for a long weekend stay, and Masham had enough nice pubs for us to eat somewhere different every night. A great base to explore the Dales.
