The second offers breathtaking views up to Fremington Edge, inspiring early morning walks in the fresh Dales air. Both rooms feature super king-sized beds, which can also be split into twins upon request if you prefer this setup. The bedrooms share a spacious family bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower. For larger groups, the nearby cottages — Turbine House, Greystones, and Charlie’s Stable — are also available, providing additional accommodation very close by.

With two comfortable sofas, a 40” smart TV, and a Netflix subscription, you can unwind with your favourite shows or movies while enjoying a Yorkshire brew! The cottage is surrounded by farmland and the sounds of nature, making it an incredibly restful place to be. Outside, the enclosed garden is great for dogs to stroll while you take in the panoramic views of Fremington Edge and listen to the gentle sounds of the flowing Arkle Beck and the calls of birds and sheep.

The pretty village of Reeth is just a two-minute walk away from the house and here you can find a range of amenities including pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops, as well as the popular Swaledale Museum. Every Friday, the village hosts a lively market, where you can pick up local produce and artistry. Such a lovely place to stay. Burton House was ideal for 2 adults, two teenagers, and a dog. In easy reach of all local amenities, walks and countryside. Beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. We lit the fire a few times and enjoyed the cosy feel of this real treat of a place. We plan on returning!
