EAT

The kitchen at Granby is a generously sized, cobalt blue, shaker-style space – a total treat for keen chefs and their home cooked masterpieces. It’s also a great social hangout for you and all the family to be together and eat informally. You can gather around the kitchen table, or fire up the beautifully restored gas AGA for slow roasts and cosy winter feasts. There is a separate electric oven too, plus a full-height fridge, integrated dishwasher, concealed bins, and even the original servant bell system so you can ring for attention! For special evenings, the formal dining room offers a stunning ambiance with its cast-iron fireplace and warm, atmospheric lighting – It creates the perfect backdrop for memorable dinners that linger late into the night.

SLEEP

The five dreamy bedrooms offer you space, comfort, and character in abundance. Upstairs, the master suite is a serene sanctuary, complete with high ceilings, soft lighting, and a luxurious ensuite featuring a claw-foot bathtub as well as a spacious walk-in shower. The second bedroom also offers an ensuite bathroom, while two further double rooms share a stylish house bathroom. The top floor is a retreat all of its own with a large bedroom and living area bathed in natural light from Velux windows. Perfect for teenagers, or anyone wanting a little privacy during their stay.

RELAX

Unwinding is easy in one of the house’s sitting rooms. The grand sitting room is made for cosy fireside chats, slow reading, and lazy family evenings , while a second lounge room currently serves as a playful family space but can easily transform into a movie room, games den, or quiet library. Outside, Granby’s private walled garden offers a peaceful haven of green. Here you can fire up the BBQ on sunny afternoons, sip wine on the patio, or let your kids stretch their legs safely in the lawned space. Off-street parking for one car sits behind large sliding gates inside the back garden.

By Car

Harrogate is easily reached from the A1(M) via nearby junctions, with clear local road links into the town.

By Train

Harrogate railway station sits right in the town centre. There are regular direct services from Leeds (~35 min) and York (~40 min), with good connections from across the UK.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport (about 20–25 minutes from Harrogate). You can reach Harrogate via taxi or by the regular airport bus service (Flyer A2).
